Hi Reader, There's always a new productivity tool and hack.. However, I've followed a system that has worked for me over the past decade. It has stood the test of time. It's as simple as this π 1οΈβ£ Write down the top 3 tasks of the day β Keeps me clear and outcome-focused β One of the top 3 tasks is the 'frog' β The frog is high-friction and has a high ROI. Get the frog done first. 2οΈβ£ Block time slots for the top tasks β Mornings: blocked for deep work β Afternoons: open for meetings. β No work after sundown Focus shifts to family after sunset. Identify shifts too. 3οΈβ£ Set Pomodoro timers for the top tasks β The best way to break resistance β Keep a physical Pomodoro on your desk if needed 4οΈβ£ Work async, especially in the mornings 100% of my first half is async. 80% of my total work is async. β Fewer calls, more creation, better thinking β Open calendars help creativity flow β This is the case for me now, and may not be the case for everyone 5οΈβ£ Use tools intentionally, find ones you can stick to for years 80% of my work is done within TickTick & Google Drive. β I've been using these tools for years β Reduces cognitive load and switching costs β Eliminates 'productivity FOMO' Productivity isnβt about doing more. Itβs about doing what matters. We should talk about what has worked over years, and not just what's new and shiny.. Have a productive week ahead! Regards, Rishabh π Want More?
